History dept in the CSTS Govt. Kalasala was established in 1974 which is the inaugural year of the college. History happens to be the common subject for all the students pursuing B.A which has 3 combinations i.e HEE, HET & HEP the cumulative intake for History in the year 2021-22 is 160 ( which includes students of all the 3 combinations )
Dept of history aspires to enlighten the students about India’s past and make them appreciative of India’s culture and heritage which would instill in them a strong sense of national pride.
